About the Pickle

Jayani bitter gourd pickle ( karele ka achar) can  be very beneficial for diabetics as bitter gourd is very helpful to control diabetes as it is bitter in taste. So one can consume bitterness blended with spices and mustard oil which comes in the form of good taste.

Ingredients used in ‘karele ka achaar

Raw bitter gourds ( kacche karele), turmeric, coriander powder, cumin , carom seeds powder , raw mango powder, fenugreek powder, fennel seeds powder, yellow mustard seeds powder, black cumin seeds, asafetida, rock salt, mustard oil.

Process

Supreme quality of green bitter gourds ( karele) totally green ,  grown in Uttar Pradesh brought directly from the farmers used for making the bitter gourd ( karele)  pickle. Spices are sourced locally from the bazaar.

We always buy whole spices which must be clean and of good quality.

Then these  spices kept under the sun for some time to remove the moisture before grinding them. Mustard oil is also brought from U.P. directly from the oil speller. We alwaystake care of quality and purity while selecting the ingredients.

This pickle can be enjoyed with dal chawal , paraantha, puri sabji and many more dishes.
